ABC7 LA interviewed Native American, Jerry Nieblas, a descendant of the Acjachemen indigenous people in San Juan Capistrano, who speaks about P-22….. the recently captured and euthanized mountain lion that lived his life in the hills of Los Angeles. He tells about the connection between wildlife and humans. Native Americans believe that wildlife are brothers and sisters, they are family. “P-22 should not be put on display in a museum. His life must be respected and returned to Mother Earth accompanied by a ceremony.”
