Ceremony for those who died in the Earthquake of 1812

On Wednesday, December 8th, 2021, we held our first ceremony on our great land to honor our ancestors who died in the earthquake of 1812. This was the first ceremony to take place on Putuidem since 1776. We will now make this an annual ceremony that will honor those who lost their lives in the earthquake during the holy mass celebrating the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The opening of the Putuidem Village provides us with a unique opportunity to honor our ancestors on the great land they worked on, lived on, loved on, and laid to rest on. We are back!

Enjoy the photos and we will see you all next year!
