Description: Building upon decades of research by Dr. Rael-Gálvez on Native American slavery, thanks to the Mellon Foundation, he has been able to launch Native Bound-Unbound – Archive of Indigenous Slavery, the objective of which is to create a centralized digital repository centered on the lives of the enslaved Indigenous people across the Americas. Dr. Rael-Gálvez will provide an overview of the initiative and engage the audience in a conversation about how to get involved.
